Casey Huether will be watching this year’s Super Bowl in style after he was selected the winner in a raffle to benefit the Classy Lane Barn Fire Fund.
Veteran horseman Roger Mayotte drew Huether’s name from a sea of tickets Monday evening at Woodbine Racetrack, and as a result Huether, who works for trainer Carmen Auciello, became the proud new owner of a 60 inch Samsung flat screen TV, a Samsung flat bar surround sound, a Samsung DVD player and an entertainment centre.
Patricia Metivier, girlfriend of trainer Joe Cirasuola, generously donated the raffle prize package for the fundraiser which was spearheaded by the race office staff at Mohawk and Woodbine Racetrack.
