It has been announced that effective today (Friday, February 1), both the New York State Racing and Wagering Board and the New York Lottery are effectively merged into the New York State Gaming Commission.
The NYS Gaming Commission's website is gaming.ny.gov.
The website has much more information and is better organized and user-friendly than the Racing and Wagering Board's site, which is being decommissioned.
The same data and information exists on the Gaming Commission's site, albeit in a more accessible format.
