Friday night opens the weekend of live racing at the Meadowlands Racetrack with a dozen big fields and competitive match-ups galore.
A pair of higher-class conditioned trots highlights the program. Fan favourite Market Share will be back after having eked out a hard-fought win last week. He will face eight solid contenders, including Fashion Creditor, Waiting On A Woman and Opulent Yankee in Race 6.
The GSY holds its familiar spot as the gateway to the action. Ellens Streak and Dr. John Kokinos will look to notch another win after having had their two-race win streak snapped last week. The duo will face Feisty Love (to driven by David Glasser), who will be making her third start off of a layoff. She has drawn the rail in the opener.
Off the track, there will be the usual array of dining options, nightlife at Victory Sports Bar and the final weekend of the 2016 Toys for Tots drive.
The popular ‘Own A Horse’ promotion is back, and you may sign up to be one of the lucky contestants beginning this weekend through December 31.
