Trot Insider has learned that Standardbred Canada member Robert (Bob) Kenneth Melmer passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 4 in his 67th year.
Devoted loving husband to Kelly Worth. Loving brother to Helen Gruetzman. Loving father to Michelle Paterson, son in law Wayne, granddaughter Grace Kelly. Loving father to Matthew Melmer, daughter in law Debbie, granddaughter Laura. Loving father to Jason Melmer, daughter in law Moira and extending family. Bob will be deeply missed by Anne Melmer, all cousins, nieces and nephews and father to step-sisters. Bob will be missed by all extended family and many, many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 15 at the Mohawk Inn, 9230 Guelph Line, Campbellville, Ont. Visitation is from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Animal Adoptions of Flamborough and/or Whispering Hearts Horse Rescue would be greatly appreciated.
