Georgian Downs has joined Western Fair Raceway among the tracks cancelling racing on Tuesday
night .
With over 100 centimetres of snow having fallen in the London, Ont. area, Western Fair Raceway has announced that it has cancelled its program of live racing for Tuesday, December 7 but remains open for simulcasting.
Georgian Downs' forecast has taken a turn for the worse and Chris Roberts told Trot Insider that Georgian will cancel tonight's card.
Kawartha Downs and Windsor Raceway are the other Canadian tracks which have cards of live racing scheduled for today. The tracks' programs will kick off at 4:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., respectively.

In regard to Western Fair Raceway, the track has reported that a snow squall warning has been issued for London and the surrounding areas, and the City of London is considering calling a state of emergency to deal with the snow that has resulted from the storms.
All City of London services are closed today while snow clearing crews are out in full force. The forecast is calling for an addition 20 to 30 centimetres of snow throughout today and into tomorrow.
Western Fair’s next scheduled card of racing is set for Thursday with a 3:35 p.m. first-race post time.
