The California Standardbred Sires Stakes Committee has issued a notice reminding horsepeople that nominations for 2022 foals are due by Dec. 31, 2023 (postmarked) at the fee of $300 for the California Sires Stakes program.
All foals of 2022 by stallions registered the year of the breeding season are eligible to apply. Stallions from the states/provinces of California, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Maine, Michigan and Alberta must have stood in their own state/province and registered with the California program, the breeding year, in order for their foals to be eligible.
