For the fourth consecutive year, the Woodbine Entertainment Group is proud to accept the Top Choice Award as the Entertainment Complex of the Year for Woodbine Racetrack.
WEG also received, for the second straight year, the Top Choice Award in the Sports Bar (Vaughan) category for its WEGZ Stadium Bar property.

The Top Choice organization polled 3,000 people from 10 ethnic communities in the Greater Toronto Area to nominate their top choices in a variety of categories based on quality, service, value and professionalism. Woodbine Racetrack first earned the Top Entertainment Complex honour in 2009, and has won the award every year since.
Woodbine is also honoured to have been recognized for excellence in several other areas in 2012, in both its core business of horse racing and its other entertainment and business operations.
Along with the recent Top Choice Award, Woodbine’s WEGZ Stadium Bar in Vaughan also earned the 2012 Business Achievement Award from the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce. Turf Lounge, WEG’s premier dining venue in Toronto’s financial district, was voted the Talk of the Town – Nightlife – Award by Celebration Media.
Woodbine Racetrack – the most popular horse racing venue in the country – also earned a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor, the continent’s finest destination marketing organization. “Trip Advisor awards businesses that consistently earn top ratings from Trip Advisor travelers with a rating of 4.0. Woodbine has earned a place among the very best,” Christine Petersen President, Trip Advisor for Business.
