Trot Insider has learned that the card of racing scheduled for Tuesday (Dec. 31) at Red Shores at Charlottetown Driving Park has been abandoned on account of impending inclement weather.
The cancellation includes the food offering in Turf’s Bar & Grill, but New Year’s Eve celebrations will continue as scheduled in the Top of the Park and on the casino floor. Simulcast theatres will remain open.
Racing returns to Charlottetown on Saturday (Jan. 4), with first post at 12:30 p.m. Atlantic time.
