Trot Insider has learned that longtime horsewoman Colleen Melton of Petrolia, Ontario passed away Wednesday, December 29. She was 61
.
Colleen is survived by her husband Jim, daughters Janice (Len) Annett, Jacqueline (Steve) Jackson and Sarah Shean as well as six grandchildren. She is also survived by her father Bill Core.
Visitation has been scheduled for Friday, December 31 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at People's Church, 3888 London Line, Wyoming, Ontario.
Funeral Services by Needham Jay of Petrolia will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 1, 2011 also at People's Church with a visitation at 10:15 a.m.
