Woodbine Mohawk Park would like to issue a final reminder to horsepeople of today’s (Dec. 3) deadline for winter series nominations.
The Niagara Series and Valedictory Series will start next week and conclude on Boxing Day (Dec. 26). The Blizzard Series and Snowshoe Series will begin in mid-January and will wrap up on February 1.
Each series consists of two $17,000 preliminary legs and a $30,000 (added) final.
The nomination fee for each series is $200 ($160 USD).
The conditions and dates for each series are listed below:
Niagara Series (December 13, 20, 26)
Three-year-old pacing fillies in 2018, non-winners of $60,000 lifetime as of midnight, October 31, 2018. No Allowances.
Valedictory Series (December 10, 17, 26)
Three-year-old pacing colts and geldings in 2018, non-winners of $60,000 lifetime as of midnight, October 31, 2018. No Allowances.
Blizzard Series (January 17, 24, February 1)
Three and four-year-old pacing fillies and mares in 2019, non-winners of two races or $30,000 lifetime as of midnight, October 31, 2018. No Allowances.
Snowshoe Series (January 18, 25, February 1)
Three and four-year-old pacing colts, horses and geldings in 2019, non-winners of two races or $30,000 lifetime as of midnight, October 31, 2018. No Allowances.

If sending nominations by mail, envelopes must be clearly post-marked no later than December 3, 2018 or payment will not be accepted. Registered mail is recommended.
