On Friday, December 23 the Ontario Racing Commission (ORC) released its rulings in regard to the appeals of horsemen Anthony MacDonald, Ron Maclean and Scott Wray.

In regard to Anthony MacDonald, the ORC allowed the driver's appeal of a $200 fine which had come after the commission took the position that MacDonald needlessly allowed a horse to pass along the inside on November 10 at Woodbine Racetrack.

In regard to Ron Maclean, the ORC denied his appeal, which was in regard to the placing of his horse after it had 'caused confusion among trailing horses' during an October 14 race at the Western Fair District.
