Monticello Raceway’s 2012 racing season will commence on Monday, January 2 and will continue on, and through, Friday, January 6
.
After that, the usual Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday format will continue throughout the month with just one exception: that being Monday, January 16, when there will be no live racing.
First-race post times during January will be at the usual 12:25 p.m.
On Tuesday, January 17, Monticello will present its 12th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Pace, which showcases the talents of drivers of African-American descent.
Racing will continue all season long and post times may vary during certain times of the year. In all, 'the Mighty M' will offer 207 dates of live racing during the 2012 campaign.
