Yonkers Raceway would like to remind its fans and horsepeople that it will be concluding its 2010 live racing schedule with programs Monday, December 20 and Tuesday, December 21
. First-race post time for each card is 7:10 p.m.
Please be advised that Yonkers' 2011 season of live racing will get underway Thursday, January 13, pending approval from the New York State Racing and Wagering Board.
Beginning Monday, January 17, Yonkers will return to its customary five-night-per-week schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday), with first post for each card at 7:10 p.m.
As always, evening simulcasting accompanies all live programs, while afternoon simulcasting continues around the NYRA schedule (note that Aqueduct returns Wednesday, December 29).
Horsemen are also reminded that nomination forms for Yonkers' early-season 2011 series (Petticoat, Sagamore Hill, George Morton Levy Memorial and Blue Chip Matchmaker) are now available.
