The Central Ontario Standardbred Association has announced a special Christmas draw for grooms at the Racetrack Chaplaincy of Canada’s hot lunch on Wednesday, December 14
.
The names of 10 licensed grooms will be selected from the COSA member list and each will be awarded a $100 gift certificate from Wal-Mart.
The Chaplaincy Program headed by Ken Carter provides complimentary hot lunches for backstretch personnel every Wednesday year-round, as well as a turkey dinner on Christmas Day at Mohawk Racetrack’s non-denominational Chapel.
