On Thursday, December 18, three recent equine book authors will be speaking about their novels at Sunshine Meadows Equestrian Village as part of the facility’s meet and greet program.

Authors Victoria Howard, Billy Haughton and David Mallegol will be at Gigi’s Cantina in the Clubhouse section starting at 1:30 p.m. Admission and parking are free, plus food and beverages will be available.

Howard and Haughton, along with Fred Hudson, authored ‘Roosevelt Raceway – Where it all began,’ which will be available in book stores at the end of month. They will have a limited number of the book available at Thursday’s event. Among other things, the book features the history of the world renowned racetrack in Long Island, NY.

Victoria Howard has also penned a new children’s harness racing book called ‘The Adventures of Max & Molly’ that she will talk about so children are more than welcome to attend.

Harness racing fans will also get to meet a living legend from the Roosevelt Raceway era, as world renowned driver/trainer Lucien Fontaine will be at the meet and greet.

The third author is Palm Beach Garden resident David Mallegol. He has just completed his second fictional novel in a series entitled ‘The Bronze Horsemen’ that historically talks about the first humans to domesticate wild horses, the lives they led and how it changed the world for thousands of years to come.
