He was the beloved husband of Della (Robson) Maltby of 67 years. Dear father of Karen (Bob) Scott of Mildmay; Sheila (Ron) Payne of Blue Water Beech; Brenda-Louise (Larry) Moore of Fergus; Dana (Helmuth) Slisarenko of Arkell; Kim (Greg) Delarosbil of Cambridge and Robin (Dale) Galbraith of Parry Sound. Loved Grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Iva (late Lewis) Gregor of Guelph; Fern (Garnet) Smith of St. Catherines; Joan (late Jack) Martin of Florida and the late Allegra (late Kenneth) Tawse.
He is resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, (Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.) where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 – what would have been his 89th birthday - at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
