On Wednesday, December 9, close to 100 Ontario Harness Horse Association members met at the North Wentworth Community Centre to discuss the Flamboro Downs contract negotiations that OHHA and Great Canadian
Gaming are currently involved in.
After a thorough discussion, a motion was made and passed to confirm the support of the negotiating committee and their efforts to secure a new three-year agreement.
“It was encouraging to see the large turnout considering the inclement weather and we appreciate the confidence and continued support for the negotiating committee expressed by the OHHA members,” stated OHHA president Darryl MacArthur.
“We will be meeting shortly with management from Great Canadian Gaming to continue our negotiations.”
