Monticello Raceway has announced several changes to its live racing schedule for the month of December.
The first card of the month will be on Tuesday, December 1 followed by programs on December 2 and December 3. Racing will continue the following week on Monday, December 7 through Thursday, December 10,
Beginning Monday, December 14, the 'Mighty M' will offer 11 consecutive daily race programs through Christmas Eve Day, Thursday, December 24. The added cards during that stretch will include live race dates on Friday, December 18, Saturday, December 19 and Sunday, December 20.
Racing will continue on Monday, December 28 with four daily programs during the final week of the month, concluding on Thursday, December 31
All first-race post times in December will be at 12:25 p.m.
Two special races will be presented during December. On Wednesday, December 16 the 'Monticello Marathon' will again be offered for trotters racing at a distance of one and three-quarter miles. On New Year Eve Day, December 31, Monticello's 'Au Revoir Race' for 14-year-olds will take place.
