Thanksgiving week in the United States could bring extra reasons to give thanks for players of the Super Hi-5 at the Meadows.
The track has announced that on Tuesday, November 24, the Super Hi-5 will carry a mandatory payout. With the Super Hi-5 jackpot already at $111,462.16, the final pool could be huge, indeed.
Ordinarily, the Meadows offers the Super Hi-5, with a minimum 20-cent wager, on the final race of each live card. However, to assure a large jackpot for the November 24 Super Hi-5, the Meadows will pause the wager until then.
The last time the Super Hi-5 carried a mandatory payout, the pool ultimately grew beyond $300,000. On that occasion, there were multiple winning tickets, assuring that the riches were well spread — and well worth the investment.
