Officials with the Meadowlands Racetrack have announced that the track will be making a slight adjustment to its wagering format this weekend.

The change will take effect when live racing resumes this Saturday (November 11).

With the start of the Pick 10 Survivor on Race 1, the 50-cent Pick Five will be moved back to start on Race 2 to avoid overlap between the two wagers.

In addition, the early Pick Four will move back to start on Race 4 and the late Pick Four will now start on Race 8.

The guarantees for all four wagers will remain in place. The Pick 10 Survivor will carry a $10,000 guarantee, the Pick Five and early Pick Four will have a $25,000 guarantee, and the late Pick Four will have a $50,000 guarantee.

“As we continue to see how the new Pick 10 Survivor plays out, we wanted to make sure that our other multi-race wagers were not being stepped on,” explained Jason Settlemoir, Meadowlands COO/GM. “With these changes, we hope horseplayers will be able to focus on each multi-race wager.”

Live racing resumes Saturday, November 11 with a 12-race program beginning at 7:15 p.m.
