The Horse Peoples' Alliance of Ontario has released the agenda for its meeting on Thursday, November 10.
The meeting will be held at the Best Western Plus Milton, 161 Chisholm Dr, Milton, Ont., with a 2:00 p.m. start time.
The agenda and points of discussion for the meeting are as follows:

To establish the Horse Peoples' Alliance of Ontario Advisory Committee.

Set timing for Horse Peoples' Alliance of Ontario formalization and board election.

Secrecy in the industry: Ensuring that the government's mandate of transparency and accountability are met through the opening of industry agreements involving horsepeoples' interests.

Review and discuss the Ontario Racing and OLG Consultations.

Counter the speed at which the industry is being realigned and reorganized.

Seek the opportunity to engage with government to ensure the interests of horse people are heard and the rebuilding process undergoes the necessary review process, particularly as it relates to transparency and accountability.
