Red Shores' Summerside's final card of live harness racing in 2011 will take place during the afternoon of Sunday, November 13, and the Prince County Horsemen’s Club will be hosting an appreciation day for horsepeople and customers
.
The day will feature numerous promotional draws and customer giveaways, including merchandise, wagering vouchers, bowling and swimming passes for Credit Union Place with more prizes being added in the second chance draws. The VIP in PEI promotion will also continue with Reward Club players having the opportunity to receive their ballots to win the prize pool totaling $10,000 for the December draw. Even Prince Edward Island’s famous spuds will be given away to customers when they arrive for the event.
Patrons that purchase a 'TrackPack' in the main entrance will have a chance to receive a new toque donated by Red Shores and Meridian Farms. Trackside cooler presentations will take place on every race.
First-race post time on Sunday will be 1:00 p.m.
