On Wednesday, November 9, the Ontario Racing Commission released its ruling on the appeal of horseman Brian Lawson.

The horseman was appealing a July 12, 2011 ORC decision which called for an immediate suspension of his license.

In its ruling of the appeal, the ORC determined that Lawson is not eligible for any type of ORC license for a minimum of five years, confirming the ORC's position of July 12.
