Officials with the Meadowlands Racetrack have issued a reminder that the New Jersey Racing Commission’s new medication rules went into effect on November 3.
Most notably, the recommended withdrawal time for Clenbuterol in New Jersey will increase to 14 days. All horsepeople that are planning to race at the Meadowlands beginning Friday, November 14, including the Breeders Crown eliminations and finals, should take note of these new racing commission rules.
Additionally, there are now 26 medications categorized as Controlled Therapeutic Medication. Information relating to these 26 medications can be found within the ARCI Controlled Therapeutic Medication Schedule at acri.com.
