Rosecroft Raceway has announced a roughly 10 per cent increase to purses will begin this Saturday evening. All classes, except the Winner’s Over, will have at least a ten percent increase.
“We are happy to be able to reward the horsemen that have made this meet a success so far and look to build on that success with this increase,” said Racing Secretary Michael Wandishin.
In other news, Rosecroft will make up the “lost card” of October 27 on Thursday, December 20, 2012, pending approval by the Maryland Racing Commission. Post time will be 7:25 p.m. This will enable horsemen to race twice in the final eight calendar days of the meet.
