Trot Insider has learned that a green Brodeur Golden Lite race bike was either stolen or mistakenly taken a few weeks ago at Georgian Downs
.
Horseman Gino Cicero told Trot Insider that his bike was taken at the Innisfil, Ont. track, but that it could have been the result of a mix-up.
"I remember seeing another one at the paddock the night that it went missing," Cicero told Trot Insider. "I had to do a double-take at it myself, but mine has my name on it so it was easy to distinguish that way."
Cicero said that he figured the bike would've been returned to him by now, but since it hasn't he is asking all in the industry to contact either himself at 519-938-6767 or the Georgian Downs race office at 705-726-2558 or 905-627-5822.
