The Caldwell Partners International has announced a list of qualities, attributes and requirements needed
from individuals planning on applying to fill the role of Standardbred Canada President and CEO.
As previously announced, Ted Smith, president of Standardbred Canada since its inception in 1998, will be retiring in May of 2010. As a result of Smith's decision, SC's Board of Directors has formed a search committee to find Smith's successor.

Standardbred Canada is the amalgamation of the former Canadian Trotting Association and the Canadian Standardbred Horse Society. It is a Canada-wide not-for-profit organization with approximately 13,500 members. It is the official registry and record-keeping body for the Canadian standardbred industry and has its headquarters at 2150 Meadowvale Blvd. in Mississauga.
