The Prix d’Amerique, one of harness racings most prestigious events, raced at Vincennes Racecourse in Paris, the beautiful City of Lights, is a dream destination for those who love the sport of harness racing. How would you like to go?
The Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF), in an effort to raise much needed funds, is once again raffling a chance to win a fabulous trip to the 2012 Prix d’Amerique slated for Sunday, January 29, 2012.
This fabulous trip begins with an airfare voucher with a value of up to $1,800 and includes a four-night stay for two at the charming four star Hotel Terass in the heart of the Montmartre district in Paris, France. Trackside seats for two to one of the worlds most prestigious and exciting races, the great Prix d'Amerique is the main event but the four-day tour also includes a trip to the standardbred training centres at the nearby Grobois Training Centre.
Your free time in Paris will lend itself to visiting the Louvre, home of the famous Mona Lisa, French cuisine and more.
SRF will be offering raffle tickets at the Harrisburg Sale for just $25 each. Many tickets were distributed to members of the foundation, and they are also available by contacting SRF.
The winning ticket will be drawn December 9, 2011 at Showplace Farms in Millstone, NJ. The winner does not need to be present.
