The Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission today announced that there will be an MPHRC hearing on January 21, 2011 to hear submission for rule changes.

TAKE NOTICE THAT a hearing before the Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission to hear submissions for Rule Changes will convene at 1:00 p.m. Friday, the 21st day of January 2011 at Super 8 Amherst, 40 Lord Amherst Drive, Amherst, Nova Scotia.
AND TAKE NOTICE THAT any licensee of the Commission wishing to speak at said hearing must submit their written representations to the attention of Frank Balcom, Chair, Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission, P.O. Box 128, 5 Gerald McCarville Drive, Kensington, PEI C0B 1M0 not later than Friday, the 17th day of December, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. and/or by fax to 902-836-5320 or email to [email protected] and/or [email protected].
AND TAKE NOTICE THAT said hearing is closed to parties who do not have standing to appear before the Commission. The Chair shall grant fifteen (15) minutes to those individuals with “standing” to speak at said hearing to outline and highlight their written submission. The Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission will not be making a final determination on the Rule Changes on the date of said hearing.
AND TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT The Commission shall respond to all written submissions and oral submissions on or before Friday, the 1st day of April 2011.
