Freehold Raceway, in association with Peter Grandich and Co., will be hosting the 'Turkey Trot' on November 29, the day after U.S. Thanksgiving.

The event will be highlighted by an appearance by Fred Baxter, the former New York Jet and New England Patriot. The first 100 fans at Freehold will receive an autographed photo of Baxter. All fans at Freehold that day can bring up to three items for Baxter to sign. Baxter will also be available for photos. The meet and greet will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

In addition, numerous pieces of sports memorabilia, including signed footballs from Baxter, will be given away in a drawing.

The Turkey Trot race will also be held that afternoon. The winner of that race will receive a turkey-shaped trophy, presented by Freehold Raceway and Peter Grandich.

Peter Grandich and Co., based in Spring Lake, New Jersey, provides business, retirement, and estate planning services to individuals, business owners, and professional athletes. The company offers professional advice and risk management strategies to clients.

The first race that day at Freehold will be at 12:30 p.m.
