Yonkers Raceway has issued a reminder regarding its upcoming live schedule.
After Yonkers’ live cards of racing on Monday (November 21) and Tuesday (November 22), the track’s live racing (and evening simulcasting) will take a holiday hiatus.
There’s neither this coming Friday and Saturday nights (Nov. 25 and 26, though afternoon simulcasting is available every day), but racing will return this Sunday (Nov. 27) with an 11:10 a.m. first post.
That earlier-than-usual start does amend the ‘New York, New York Double’ a bit, using Yonkers’ sixth race (post time 1:40 p.m.) as the back-end instead the fifth race. The gimmick begins with Aqueduct’s third race (post time 1:18 p.m.).
This past Sunday’s two-track, two-breed double was scrapped due to Aqueduct’s high-wind cancellation, though it’s scheduled to be in play three more times (Nov. 27, Dec. 4, Dec. 18) this season.
Speaking of Dec. 4, Yonkers’ first post that day is 11:30 a.m.
