John W. Blackwell, a lifelong resident of the Freehold, New Jersey area, passed away on Monday, November 14.
Best known for his love of horses, Blackwell transported racehorses for stables in and around Monmouth County for many years.
Blackwell is survived by his wife, Marie Woolfolk Blackwell, and daughters, Yolanda Blackwell and Shavon Coleman.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22 at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, N.J.
