Woodbine Racetrack was forced to cancel the majority of its 11-race program on Thursday evening due to thick fog that rolled into the Rexdale, Ontario facility
around 5 p.m.
The safety of the horses and the drivers was compromised and the ORC Judges were unable to utilize surveillance cameras and the photo finish equipment due to the fog. That forced the cancelation of the card after the second race.
Harness racing is scheduled to return to Woodbine Racetrack on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m.
