The Meadowlands Racetrack will open its 2014 fall meet this coming weekend with harness racing's championship series the $5.4 million Breeders Crown.
Entries for Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15 will be accepted by the race office at 877-782-2537 until the box closes at 9 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. A double-draw for both cards will be executed after the box closes.
Supporting races have been designed to complement the Breeders Crown, along with a slate of overnight races. The condition sheet and letter classification for overnight horses are available here. It is imperative that trainers submit a new racing application for the fall meet, any application submitted previously is now void. Also, your stable roster will allow the race office to award a letter to each horse for classification purposes.
It is recommended that horsemen subscribe to the Meadowlands’ text service for all racing announcements, including classes that need more entries to fill, class changes, weather-related issues and important travel and traffic information.
