The Blooded Horse Sale will offer a nice group of horses at its Fall Mixed Sale on Nov. 15 in Springfield, Ohio.
In addition to the supplement that is currently being taken, the main catalogue includes 76 yearlings – by sires such as Tall Dark Stranger, Downbytheseaside, Tactical Landing, Cantab Hall, Bettors Delight and Green Manalishi.
In addition to 98 racehorses with more added daily, there are 122 broodmares (some with foals by their side) and 25 weanlings. The broodmares are in foal to studs such as Tall Dark Stranger, Pappi Rob Hanover, Pebble Beach, Perfect Sting, Bettors Delight, American Ideal, Green Manalishi S, Swan For All and Catch The Fire. There are weanlings and sucklings by Tall Dark Stranger, Love You, Green Manalishi S, International Moni, What The Hill, Ready for Moni and Long Tom.
Buyers now have the option to make late entries and bring horses to sell. The supplement will be open until noon Monday, Nov. 13.
“Horses in the supplement bring every bit as much as they would in the main catalogue; sometimes our sale topper is there,” said sale manager Jerry Haws. “People know this is their last opportunity for quite a while to physically inspect and purchase horses live. With 340 horses entered to date, it’s going to be a real good sale.”
