Four Atlantic Canadian harness racing families will be recognized for their long time contribution to the regional industry during Atlantic Breeders Crown
on Thanksgiving weekend.
Lee Drake, Chair of the 2009 Host Committee announced that this year's honorees will be the Davis family of Nova Scotia, the MacPhee family of Prince Edward Island, the Goodine family of New Brunswick, and the Oliver Family of Newfoundland.
“All of these families have played an integral role in the rich heritage of Atlantic harness racing,” stated Drake. “We will be proud to honour their accomplishments at our awards banquet.”
These presentations will be part of the gala awards night, Saturday, October 10 at the Delta Prince Edward in Charlottetown, PE. Tickets can be reserved by contacting HRPEI at (902) 892-6823.
