Diamond Creek Farm has announced that Sweet Lou, the sport’s leading overall sire in 2025, will have a new stud fee for 2026.

After standing for $25,000 USD in 2025, Sweet Lou will stand in 2026 for a fee of $30,000 USD. His book will close no later than Dec. 15, though it is expected to be inundated with demand and may close earlier.

Sweet Lou once again dominated the pacing ranks in 2025, leading all sires with progeny earnings in excess of $23 million. Among his standout performers are likely Dan Patch Award winners Louprint and Loua Dipa.

Louprint has firmly cemented his place at the top of this year’s sophomore pacing colt division, with major victories in the North America Cup, Tattersalls Pace, and Little Brown Jug.  On the filly side, Loua Dipa enjoyed a breakout campaign, capturing the Shes A Great Lady and Breeders Crown, underscoring her position among the elite pacing fillies of 2025.

“Sweet Lou continues to define the standard of excellence for modern pacing sires,” said Adam Bowden of Diamond Creek Farm. “His progeny performs consistently at the highest levels, and the continued demand for his offspring reflects the depth of his impact on the breed.”

Diamond Creek Farm will announce stud fees for its remaining stallions following the conclusion of the upcoming Harrisburg Yearling Sale.
