The Standardbred Retirement Foundation’s (SRF) most important and consistent source of funding from within the industry comes from yearly and lifetime breeding donations.
Donors often include breedings in their gift giving to SRF, as they serve well as a substitute for cash gifts. SRF is asking for donations of much needed breedings to help provide care, boarding, feeding, veterinary, farrier, dental, worming, rehabilitation, and re-training for 190+ standardbreds of which 114 are unadoptable due to age and/or injury.
Donations, which are tax-deductible, are gratefully received and are much needed. Breedings are sold directly and not auctioned to protect the value of the stallion.
