George Wins Regina TCNHC Qualifier

Saturday, October 24 was a busy night for Regina Teletheatre. Hosting its very first Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship qualifier, the organizers were thrilled to have a packed house

.

With a total of 76 contestants wagering on 10 races, the competition was fierce. Coming out on top was Regina, Sask. native Gary George came out on top.

The longtime racing fan will be headed to Ottawa in under two weeks to test his handicapping skills against players from across the country.

With the grand prize sitting at $25,000, George will be heading in off of a win and will be looking for more.

The TCNHC will take place on November 8 at Rideau Carleton Raceway.
