The first leg of the Xtreme Sprint for claiming pacers kicks off on Monday at Grand River Raceway
with two $5,000 divisions.
The one lap (half mile) dashes are carded as races 5 & 7 on the card, the closing race night of the season for the Elora track.
Horses will earn points towards the $20,000 Championship scheduled on November 16 at Georgian Downs. The top nine point earners from all of the Xtreme Sprint legs will qualify for the Championship.
Upcoming legs for the Xtreme Sprint are scheduled for October 29 at Georgian Downs and October 31 at Flamboro Downs. These will be followed by legs at Western Fair (Nov. 2 & Nov. 9), Kawartha Downs (Nov. 2 & Nov. 9), Flamboro (Nov. 7) and Georgian (Nov. 9).
