The newest addition to the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship qualifying schedule is the Regina Teletheatre. Event organizers are thrilled there will be a representative from the west coming to Ottawa this fall
.
The winner of this qualifier will receive entry into the championship, round trip airfare to Ottawa, two nights' accommodations at the beautiful Ottawa Marriot as well as transportation to and from Rideau Carleton Raceway on the night of the final.
The qualifier will be held on Saturday, October 24 at the Regina Teletheatre. There is a $10 entry fee for this event, with a maximum of three entries per person.
Patrons can purchase entry sheets up to one week prior to the event, and must be placed in the ballot box prior to the first-race post time on October 24.
Participants will place mythical wagers on five harness and five thoroughbred races. The highest bankroll at the end of the evening will be crowned the winner.
If you live in the area and would like your shot at the estimated $25,000 grand prize, contact Trent Dunbar 306-529-1571.
