Officials with Pompano Park have announced that the track’s racing schedule has been revised.
The revision sees the elimination of the remaining Monday dates in October – the 20th and 27th – and the addition of those two racing programs to the track’s April schedule.
The change was made due to a short term insufficient supply of racehorses, an occurrence which is expected to be remedied with the arrival of several stables within the next two to three weeks.
The track is still committed to race its full 126-day meeting along with measures to ‘make racing grow’ in south Florida.
The track also announced that TVG will begin coverage from the track on November 3.
