The brightest stars from the Alberta Sires Stakes program will clash in a quartet of $50,000 Super Finals during Saturday afternoon’s program at Century Downs, and a number of undefeated performers will put their impressive records on the line.

The 11-race program gets underway at 1:15 p.m. and the Super Finals are the final four races on the card. Here’s a preview of each of the divisions:

$50,000 ABSS Super Final – Two-Year-Old Pacing Fillies

Graceful Horizon totes a perfect record into her Super Final for trainer Chris Lancaster and driver David Kelly. The daughter of Vertical Horizon-Grace Montana, who is 3-for-3, set a lifetime mark of 1:55.3 winning her latest – the $19,300 ABSS Stardust. She’ll be looking to add to her bankroll which sits at just under $29,000.

Custard Smoothie has never been worse than second in five attempts, and she figures to make some noise once again for trainer Michael Campbell and driver Brandon Campbell. The daughter of Custard The Dragon-Artists Rendition, who is a three-time winner, has banked over $27,000 to date.

$50,000 ABSS Super Final – Two-Year-Old Pacing Colts & Geldings

Shark Week has drawn the pole position in his quest to keep his perfect record intact for Team Hennessy. Michael Hennessy will drive the Rod Hennessy trainee who has three wins in as many tries this season. He stormed to a 1:54.4 career-best record in his latest outing. He’ll be looking to add to his overall cash stash which stands in excess of $25,000.

Dragon Energy has just one loss on his resume from five attempts this season, and that makes him a prime player in the Super Final. David Kelly will drive the Nathan Sobey pupil from Post 9 looking to beef up the gelding’s bankroll which already sits at over $32,000.

$50,000 ABSS Super Final – Three-Year-Old Pacing Fillies

Rockinwithcustard has already racked up five this season, and she’ll do her best to add another in Saturday’s Super Final for driver Brandon Campbell and trainer Michael Campbell. The daughter of Custard The Dragon-Shes Just Rockin has banked over $34,000 this year while earning a mark of 1:54.4 over the oval in late August.

Miss Itunes has racked up more than $55,000 this year for trainer David Lamont, who will team up with driver Nathan Sobey in a quest to add to that total. The daughter of Mystery Chase-Minettas Munchkin has hit the board nine times this season and is 4-for-12 on the year.

$50,000 ABSS Super Final – Three-Year-Old Pacing Colt & Geldings

After being first or second in all seven of his starts as a freshman, Major Custard has racked up nine wins from as many starts this season for trainer Michael Campbell. It will be Brandon Campbell paired up with the son of Custard The Dragon-Chemistry, and they have the rail to work from. With over $106,000 on his card this season, the gelding is just over $4,000 shy of surpassing $200,000 in lifetime earnings.
