New Stallions For PEI

Trot Insider has learned that two new stallions will be available to breeders in Prince Edward Island for the 2014 breeding season.

Meridian Farms has obtained Westwardho Hanover and Andreoli Hanover. Both stallions will stand at the Meridian Farms Maritime location in Milton, PEI

Westwardho Hanover p,3,1.49.1 $691,023 is a son of Dragon Again from the Western Hanover mare Western Duel. A winner of the Keystone Classic at two, Westwardho Hanover was a multiple stakes winner at three with victories in the finals of the Progress Pace and Cleveland Classic and in eliminations of the Breeders Crown and Matron. At four, Westwardho Hanover won the final of the Willowdale Series and two legs of the Aquarius Series.

Andreoli Hanover p,1.50.3 $666,364 is a son of The Panderosa out of the Jate Lobell mare Allamerican Indigo. Lightly raced at two, Andreoli Hanover swept the Summertime Series at three and went on to race with great success as an aged horse. His dam Allamerican Indigo is a sister to winners of over $3.75 million including Allamerican Ingot p,3,1.50.3 $1,236,835 and Allamerican Inca p,1.48.2 $933,730.

The stallions arrived on Prince Edward Island on Thursday, October 10 in preparation for beginning their stallion careers in 2014. Each stallion will have a $750 stud fee due with a live foal, with loyalty discounts available.
