The Pennsylvania State Horse Racing Commission has provided retention barn information for the upcoming Breeders Crown at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono.
For two-year-old eliminations held on Friday, Oct. 19, retention times are 7 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18. Please check the overnights to confirm your scheduled time to report. The paddock will open at 4 p.m. on Oct. 18 for those arriving early.
Horses will be permitted to jog Friday morning between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., but trainers must notify Commission staff when they report to retention on Thursday.
For three-year-old and up eliminations held on Saturday, Oct. 20, the retention barn times will be 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday morning. The paddock will be open at 6 a.m. for those who may arrive early.
For the finals, to be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, retention barn times will be 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26. Again, jogging will be permitted the morning of Oct. 27 between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Please notify commission staff if you wish to jog upon arrival to retention.
