Standardbred Canada has announced that it has listed its building, in Mississauga, Ont., for sale. The association, which originally purchased the building at 2150 Meadowvale Blvd. in 1991, will look at relocating to a facility that better suits its current needs.
“This is something that we have been considering for a couple of years,” says John Gallinger, president and CEO of SC. “The current building is larger than what is needed and with the overhead involved in maintaining a larger space, we feel it is prudent to explore this option.”
Currently there is no timetable set on if or when the building will be sold, or where a new facility would be located. However, the association is hoping to remain close to its current location.
