Pompano Park will offer their largest Pick-4 guaranteed pool on Sunday night -- $20,000.
Gabe Prewitt, Director of Racing at the South Florida five-eighths mile oval, said, "Due to strong patron support on this wager, we have decided to offer the $20,000 guarantee on our Pick-4 on Sunday night programs for the foreseeable future.
"This guarantee, along with the industry low 12 per cent takeout should be well received and we are optimistic that this, along with our competitive racing programs, will build on our success."
The Pick-4 is just one of the "better for the bettor" options offered on the wagering buffet at Pompano Park -- the others being the Pick-5, Pick-6, Super Hi-5, Pentafecta fourth and a pair of Daily Double events to go along with Exacta, Trifecta and Superfecta wagering.
Post time for Sunday's card is set for 7:20 p.m.
