The wording of a recent poll which has appeared on the website of the London Free Press has caused an angry stir in the Ontario horse-racing industry due to the fact that it inaccurately reflects the nature of the slots-at-racetracks agreement as a 'subsidy' instead of a bilateral revenue-sharing agreement.
The poll, which went live over the course of this past weekend, asks respondents, "Should the Ontario government subsidize the horse-racing industry?"
