According to information released today by the Alberta Standardbred Horse Association, Northlands Park in Edmonton approached ASHA about the possibility of eight live standardbred race dates at the track in the month of February
.
The ASHA release states that Northlands has applied to Horse Racing Alberta for the dates.
The proposed race dates would be Fridays (with a 6:00 p.m. first-race post time) and Saturdays (1:00 p.m. first-race post time) and would run from February 4 through to February 26.
