Kawartha Downs has sent out an announcement regarding its Knockout Pacing Series for $5,000 claiming horses and geldings which is scheduled to kick off Thursday, February 3 at the Fraserville, Ont. oval
.
All of the details of the series are listed below.
- The Knockout Pacing Series
- Thursday February 3, 10 and 17, 2011
- $5,000 claiming horses and geldings
- Must have raced at KD three times in 2010 to be eligible
- No nomination, entry or starting fees
- All entries received will be on preference dates (in the event of ties, horses to be drawn by lot)
- Round One: Purse $4,000
- 27 Entries maximum. Three Divisions of nine
- Top six finishers in each division advance to Round 2
- Round Two: Purse $4,000
- 18 Horses who were top six finishers from Round 1
- Top four Finishers, plus one fifth-place finisher to final.
- Final: Purse $10,000
